WELCOME

Saskia is a scenic artist and designer from New England, currently located in Boston and available for projects across the Northeast. They currently work as the scenic charge artist at Wheelock Family Theatre and Brandeis University. See their scene design work in upcoming productions of Ada at Babson College and An Irish Carol at Greater Boston Stage Company. They also work as a teaching artist for theater tech and design at WFT, and are a graduate of Boston University School of Theatre’s Scene Design program.

As a kid, Saskia loved to write stories, read, paint, draw, sculpt, sing, and play music—a passion for storytelling plus an interest in the visual arts and a love of being part of a musicians’ ensemble led them to the world of theatre. A set facilitates a story and shapes its movement, and their favorite part of working in this field is creating a rich and exciting playground for story-telling together.
